Sending our Help and Hope to Haiti

Posted on July 23, 2010 | 0 comments

As some of you may know, my father-in-law is an ambassador living and working in Haiti. He was there when the earthquake struck in January of this year, and the ongoing crisis and rebuilding of Haiti is something our family takes very seriously. My husband has the opportunity to travel to Port- au-Prince in the coming weeks, to visit with his father and witness the conditions there.

Since January, we at Paloma's Nest, have been collecting funds from the sale of our TODAY I WILL... tiny text bowl to donate to the rebuilding efforts in Haiti. We are proud to announce that we have raised well over $500 to donate to relief efforts in Haiti, and my husband will be able to personally see that the money gets in the hands of those who need it most. Thank you to all who ordered this item, and in turn helped us to help Haiti.
